The Senate Judiciary Committee hearings scheduled for Tuesday, September 11, 2001 on the nomination of John P. Walters to be Director of the Office of The Drug Control Policy; and, Wednesday, September 12, 2001 on "S. 1265, Children's Adjustment, Relief and Education Act (CARE Act)" and "The Privacy Act of 2001 - Preserving the Privacy of Social Security Numbers, Health Information and Commercial Transactions in the 21st Century," have been postponed. No new dates are available yet.
