Feinstein Sends Request Letters Related to Russia Investigation

Washington—Judiciary Committee Ranking Member Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) today sent two letters requesting information related to the Russia investigation and possible obstruction of the FBI’s investigations into potential ties between the Trump campaign and Russia. Additional requests are expected to be sent in the coming weeks.

• Letter to Dan Scavino asks for an interview and documents related to the firing of James Comey and Michael Flynn, hacked emails by Russia and Russian efforts to target voters through social media. It also asks for communications about the June 9 meeting at Trump Tower between the Trump campaign and a Russian lawyer.

• Letter to Brad Parscale asks for an interview and documents related to hacked emails by Russia and Russian efforts to target voters through social media.
