Feinstein Sends Request Letters Related to Russia Investigation

Washington—Judiciary Committee Ranking Member Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) today sent three letters requesting information related to the Russia investigation and possible obstruction of the FBI’s investigations into potential ties between the Trump campaign and Russia. Additional requests are expected to be sent in the coming weeks.

• Letter to Reince Priebus asks for an interview and documents related to the firing of James Comey and Michael Flynn as well as communications about the June 9 meeting at Trump Tower between the Trump campaign and a Russian lawyer and other contacts with Russia.

• Letter to Hope Hicks asks for an interview and documents related to the firing of James Comey, the campaign’s contacts with Russian officials and communications about the June 9 meeting at Trump Tower and other contacts with Russia.

• Letter to Keith Schiller asks for an interview and documents related to Donald Trump’s trip to Moscow in 2013 and the firing of James Comey.
