Durbin Announces First Markup of Judge Jackson's Nomination to the Supreme Court
WASHINGTON – U.S. Senate Majority Whip Dick Durbin (D-IL), Chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee, announced on Monday, March 28 at 3:00 PM ET / 2:00 PM CT, the Senate Judiciary Committee will hold its first markup on the nomination of Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson to be an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court.
Durbin said, “The Committee will meet in Executive Session to consider Judge Jackson’s nomination to the Supreme Court this Monday, March 28th at 3:00 PM.”
