Chairman Graham on Clinesmith Guilty Plea: “The Wheels of Justice are Turning”

WASHINGTON – Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina) today made this statement after Kevin Clinesmith, an attorney formerly in the FBI’s Office of General Counsel, pleaded guilty to one charge of making a false statement in the course of the FBI’s Crossfire Hurricane investigation. Clinesmith doctored an email that the FBI then relied upon as evidence to obtain the Carter Page FISA warrants.
