WASHINGTON – Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina) today made this statement on the confirmation of Peter McCoy to be U.S. Attorney for South Carolina.
After McCoy was nominated by President Trump, Attorney General Barr appointed McCoy to serve as interim U.S. Attorney for South Carolina.
“I am very pleased that Peter McCoy has been confirmed by the U.S. Senate to serve as U.S. Attorney for South Carolina.
“Peter is an outstanding choice and I am confident he will continue to do everything in his power to keep South Carolina safe.”
