As Attorney General, Pam Bondi will make America safe again and end the partisan weaponization of the Department of Justice.
MYTH: Bondi’s relationship with President Trump is disqualifying.
FACT: Bondi: “Many presidents, including President Obama, were friends with [their] Attorney Generals throughout the years… What I can tell you is my duty, if confirmed as the Attorney General, will be to the Constitution and the United States of America.”
REMINDER: President Obama’s Attorney General, Eric Holder, was a senior legal advisor to the 2008 Obama presidential campaign and Obama’s personal friend. Holder even dubbed himself as “the president’s wingman.” Senators Dick Durbin (D-Ill.), Sheldon Whitehouse (D-R.I.) and Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.) all voted to confirm Holder.

MYTH: Bondi is an election denier.
FACT: Bondi: “President Biden is the president of the United States. He was duly sworn-in, and he is the president of the United States. There was a peaceful transition of power. President Trump left office, and was overwhelmingly elected in 2024… I accept the results [of the 2020 presidential election]. I accept, of course, that Joe Biden is president of the United States.”
REMINDER: Every Senate Democrat voted in favor of Anthony Brindisi to be a New York District Judge in December 2024. Brindisi spent months litigating the results of the 2020 NY-22 congressional race, even after a judge ruled to certify Brindisi’s loss. Additionally, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) initially refused to accept the results of Pennsylvania’s 2024 Senate election, even after the Associated Press called the race for Senator Dave McCormick (R-Pa.).

MYTH: Bondi’s past lobbying poses potential conflicts of interest.
FACT: Bondi has complied with all lobbying disclosure requirements and vowed under oath to serve the American people’s interests. Bondi: “My oath [as Attorney General] would be to support and defend the Constitution of the United States of America. The people of America would be my client.”
REMINDER: Not a single Senate Democrat opposed Chris Fonzone’s nomination to the DOJ’s Office of Legal Counsel, despite Fonzone’s paid work for Communist China and Huawei.

MYTH: Bondi will use the DOJ as a political weapon.
FACT: Bondi: “Politics have got to be taken out of the system. This Department has been weaponized for years and years and years. And it has to stop… So will everyone be held to an equal, fair system of justice if I am the next Attorney General? Absolutely. And no one is above the law.”
