Graham Statement on Biden-Harris Supreme Court Power Grab

WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina), Ranking Member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, today made this statement on the Biden-Harris Administration’s latest partisan effort to delegitimize the Supreme Court of the United States.

“Liberal Democrats want to make D.C. and Puerto Rico a state, eliminate the electoral college, and undermine the Supreme Court of the United States. They will reshape any institution to make sure it performs for them, not the country as a whole.

“The Biden-Harris Administration’s so-called Supreme Court ‘reform’ effort is a violation of the separation of powers and is designed to undercut the highest Court in the land.

“The Supreme Court under Chief Justice Roberts has brought constitutional balance back to the Court. The Court is not a threat to democracy. It is a threat to out-of-control liberalism. I will wholeheartedly oppose these so-called ‘reform’ measures.”
