Graham Statement on Committee Moving Rao’s Nomination Forward

WASHINGTON – Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina) made this statement after the committee approved of Neomi Rao’s nomination to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit by a vote of 12-10.

 “Neomi Rao is an outstanding choice by President Trump to serve on the D.C. Circuit.

 “She is an expert on administrative law and has a sound, conservative judicial philosophy that one would expect from a Republican nominee for such an important position.  I look forward to supporting her nomination on the Senate floor,” said Graham.
