“Today is a good day for the economy and a good day for freedom.”
WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina), Ranking Member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, today made this statement on the U.S. Supreme Court’s ruling in Loper Bright Enterprises v. Raimondo.
“The Chevron doctrine was, at its heart, not constitutionally sound and it now rests at the bottom of the legal sea.
“The administrative state was much too empowered under the Chevron doctrine. With its demise, courts will have more power to set aside ludicrous actions by unelected bureaucrats.
“Today is a good day for the economy and a good day for freedom.”
