Today, the nominee to serve as the next Attorney General of the United States William Barr sent a letter to U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina), Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, further detailing his commitment to public service and the rule of law. Barr clearly stated, if confirmed, he would allow Special Counsel Bob Mueller to finish his work. And at the Chairman’s request, Mr. Barr disclosed the names of everyone with whom he recalls sharing his memorandum regarding his interpretation of one subsection of the obstruction statute in the context of public reports on the Mueller investigation.
