Senate Judiciary Committee Ranking Member Graham Statement On Durham Testimony

WASHINGTON – Senate Judiciary Committee Ranking Member Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina) today made this statement on Special Counsel John Durham’s testimony to the House Judiciary Committee.

“The findings of Special Counsel Durham regarding the origins and continuation of the FBI’s Crossfire Hurricane investigation are unnerving and should be a call to action.

“The FBI and DOJ made many mistakes along the way.  The FBI totally ignored CIA concerns that the Clinton campaign was trying to link Trump to Russia.  This information went directly to then-FBI Director James Comey, who did nothing.  They used corrupt information to obtain warrants against Mr. Carter Page, and when information came about to question the Steele dossier, it was always ignored.   The FBI and DOJ wanted Trump to lose and Clinton to win.  At every evidentiary turn, their bias was obvious.

“It’s sad and dangerous that Democrats and the mainstream media could not seemingly care less as this entire episode is one of the lowest points in the history of the DOJ and FBI.”
